Saying that Amrabat did great is an understatement. The only frustrating, and sad thing about the World Cup is that you gotta wait another 4 years to prove yourself again, and when you hit a certain age, you become expendable — just look at what happened to Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s no wonder the loss feels very painful. However, the fact that Morocco has made it this far is really, really admirable. I can only imagine the morale boost that bicycle kick by El Yamiq would’ve given. It may sound like I’m in denial, but the Morocco national team, Walid Regragui, and the fans didn’t lose today; they made history, and I look forward to what the future has in store for us. Go, Atlas Lions!
