Woody Allen Shows How It’s Possible to not Be Pretentious as a Celebrity

I love his take on the meaning of filmmaking when life is concerned. I’ve always found nihilism to be fascinating, and even though I enjoy life my own way, I always respect those who have the cojones to tell it like it is without having to make a big deal out of something, all for the sake of lying to oneself about how one or the shit they create matters.

I find joy, and peace in the fact that nothing really matters, yet at the same time, it’s never an excuse to do bad shit — like some people think about some other people, which is one of the reasons I can’t stand group identities, because I find them very pathetic, and all they do is prove that minorities can be just as evil, self-entitled, and horrible as the majority. And for what? To be called a certain word or be given a right to do something you already do (or maybe even abuse), but you feel like stirring up more drama to sound like a hero, and feed your ego? Fuck that shit! Once you embrace nihilism, you realize that all you need to do is mind your own business, and all will be well in the end, simply because dead people neither tell tales nor give a fuck.

Over and out.
