It’s not a serious condition per se, especially in this day and age where many women rarely seem to care much about their hair, which explains the man-like haircuts — it’s just a harmless observation, mind you. There are people who have cancer, and they still have a sense of humor — Alopecia is nothing but a harmless mosquito bite compared to cancer. I honestly thought the slap was staged, but after the yelling… I mean, even in the Middle Ages, jesters were allowed to make fun of royal families, so in this day and age where woke culture is rampant, it’s really weird to see this kind of behavior on live television. It’s still fishy that the Smiths went from boycotting the Oscars to making a scene to winning an Oscar. This could easily make closeted racists think, “Oh, you see? We told you black people are at each other’s throats all the time, and you thought our Jim Crow laws were bad.” While it’s always seemed weird to me that Will didn’t get an Oscar for his performance in The Pursuit of Happyness or I Am Legend, I’m glad he got one for King Richard. Having said that, not taking a joke no matter how “offensive” it may seem is a deep character flaw as far as I’m concerned. What’s even scarier is the fact that, it’s like actors don’t know how to react to things genuinely anymore to the point where you don’t know whether the whole thing was staged or not, and for a second you see the “offended party” laughing, and then getting mad like it’s some kind of dissociative identity disorder. 🤦🏻♂️
