At least now I know why Ahmed El Ghandour thinks that the more educated you are, the more likely you are to be affected by the so-called foreigner complex. As a self-taught IT specialist who dropped out of university (English studies) even though I was top of my class, I’m here to remind you that Bertrand Russell was right when he said, “Men are born ignorant, not stupid; they are made stupid by education.” My point is, you don’t have to waste your parents’ money on fancy education unless you truly believe that you can make a real difference instead of just trying to make clueless teenagers envy you on Instagram. But then again, you don’t need formal education to make a real difference in the first place. Food for thought.
