4:49 Mood. Most people just wanna use the fucking app, so they don’t need to download the source code, and compile it themselves. It’s a complete waste of time for most people. Lol It’s like going to a restaurant, and the waiter brings you ingredients to cook the fucking dish yourself. Most people would lose their minds trying to get all the dependencies to be able to compile the damn code without running into a gazillion errors.

Every time I find myself needing to do something manually, I use an LLM to create a script that makes everything easier. Some of the stuff that I’ve created recently:
– A Python script (GUI) for scheduled Librewolf profile backups.
– A Python script (GUI) + Android App for turning on/off/restarting a computer.
– A Python script (GUI) for preventing HDDs from sleep (I have an annoying 40TB DAS that spins down very quickly, but not anymore.)
– A web application (Game Catalog) that uses PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, Redis, Python, Celery… hosting over 2,800 games.
– A Python script (GUI) that works as an editor for said catalog (changing game cover, release date, gameplay footage, etc.)
– A Python script + Tampermonkey script for grabbing game information from Steam with a single click so that each game folder ends up with:
1 – cover.jpg
2 – gameplay.webm
3 – release-date.txt
4 – genre.txt
5 – pg-rating.txt
6 – description.txt
7 – notify (a blank file that gets deleted automatically once a notification is sent)
– A Python script that notifies users (via email + Telegram bot) when new games are added + updated + new updates are available.
– A Python script that updates the database when new games are added.
– A Python script that compresses files by format (default is .iso) to save space using the 7-zip Ultra profile. I’ve recently used it to save over 700GB of space.
– A Tampermonkey script for converting document images into a PDF for doc88.
