My Reply to a Comment on WIRED’s Video Game Director Answers Questions From Twitter Regarding Silent Hill Franchise

 |  ESTIMATED READING TIME:  LESS THAN A MINUTE

Feel free to watch WIRED’s video by clicking here.

The video features Glen Schofield, the creator of Dead Space, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and The Callisto Protocol. Apparently, he’s a fan of Silent Hill 2, which made me super nostalgic about it, and other survival horror games I grew up playing.

Someone commented:

Hearing the guy who led the making of Dead Space saying he wishes they would make more Silent Hill games somehow really warms my heart

My reply:

Same here. Even tough I still haven’t found the energy to play SH2 Remake, I remember a few months back playing the OG uncensored version of SH that infamously includes the Grey Children on the PSX emulator, and I made it to the hospital. The nostalgia levels were just off the charts! I’ve always been a huge fan of survival horror games ever since I was 8, and now I’m 30. Had a lot of fun growing up playing games like SH, RE, Dino Crisis, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, The Clock Tower, etc, with my dad.
