Thanks for shedding light on this Jay! I was a long time user of SpeedFan, and for the longest time it felt like the only “non brand specific” reliable fan control software out there, though it had it’s own limitations. Looking forward to trying this out!
My reply:
I used SpeedFan myself back when I had a Pentium 4, but the last time I tried it on my current setup, I couldn’t get it to work, so I just settled for MSI software, which worked fine for me. Can’t wait to try the one Jayz recommends in this video!
UPDATE:
LMAO, when I downloaded the ZIP archive, Internet Download Manager renamed it to FanControl_2.zip, and I was like, “Wait… Does that mean I have this?” Then when I used Everything by VoidTools, I found out that I downloaded an earlier version of it on ‎Tuesday, ‎July ‎6, ‎2021, ‏‎2:34:21 AM. 😅
Weird. I don’t remember it being THIS easy to set up. 😅 Maybe when the fans started to go haywire while it was detecting all sensors, I just panicked, and decided not to look into it again until Jayz’ video popped up on my YT feed today. 😅
Thank you so much for this, Jayz! I’m glad I’ve decided to give Fan Control another shot thanks to you. And mainly, thank you, Rem0o, for the amazing piece of software! ♥👏🏻
