15:25 This is true. As an IT guy myself, when I remote into a client’s PC, unless they’re a returning client, chances are, they don’t have an adblock extension installed, while I normally install a combo to make sure whoever is interested doesn’t have to worry about ads or sponsor segments or anything that might affect their user experience in a negative way.
Remember when Linus from LinusTechTips thought blocking ads was piracy? I wonder how much Google had to pay him to say something that dumb. I get that most successful YouTubers don’t block ads, and sponsor segments to convey a message to their audience that they shouldn’t do it either, but hating ads is just common sense. Heck, even the FBI recommends using ad-blocking extensions due to malvertising. I just think that if you find something extremely inconvenient while using your PC or phone or tablet, no matter how tech illiterate you are, you can still use that anger to figure out a way to get rid of said inconvenience. For instance, when I was a kid, IT people used to charge us a lot for computer repair, so after 6 months or so, I learned to fix everything myself, which saved my friends, family, and clients a lot of money. After all, necessity is the mother of invention. Only in this case, you won’t have to invent anything; you just have to look up a solution online.
