Microslop is At It Again Feat. Rigid CAPTCHA, Useless Contact Page, and Verification Code Not Received

 |  ESTIMATED READING TIME:  4 MINUTES

I just tried to log into my Hotmail account, and all of a sudden, I'm asked to solve a new form of CAPTCHA that involves a sketch figure standing on signs. Bitch, I'm not your neuralink-hooked chimp. All I needed was to log into my account, so I can unlink my Hotmail account from my local Windows user account. Why would you resort to such vomit-inducing evil dark patterns to prevent me from accessing my own Hotmail account which I've had for almost 2 decades now? What's wrong with you, Microslop?

Solving that fucking puzzle really felt like I was an Indian scammer trying to solve a scambaiter's fake CAPTCHA. Mind you, it has nothing to do with difficulty. It's just that I've logged in to this Hotmail account via my browser more times than I can count, so I don't know why all of a sudden, Microsoft is acting like I'm trying to hack myself or something or like I created a bot that just created 1,000,000 fake Hotmail accounts, and so my IP got flagged somehow. This is so fucking ridiculous! Just because Bill Gates contracted HIV, doesn't mean Microslop apps and services need to suffer the same. How hard can it be for a trillion-fucking-dollar company to provide better products and services? I get it, making money is more important than quality to you guys, but still, this is beyond fucked up.

And apparently, because Microslop laid off every living breathing creature they had on their payroll, they decided to turn their “Contact Us” page into one of those ridiculous job application forms that just troll applicants into oblivion, and SPOILER ALERT: It ends with “We're unable to help.” No wonder LLMs are master gaslighters, since they've all been trained on useless corporate bullshit. It's fucking appalling, and these rich corpo cunts need to be ashamed of themselves!
So, because I'm not allowed to delete my own Hotmail account; I decided to just use NetLimiter to block Internet access to every single Microslop app and service I can find, including (note that some apps aren't installed anymore, since NetLimiter keeps a history of all firewall rules set):
ICS
WaaSMedicSvc

Lately, software updates (including Windows) have done more harm than good anyway, and believe it or not, in my 20+ years of using Windows, between the 2G and up to the ADSL era, I avoided updates on Windows XP, 7, and 10 like the plague, and guess what? Never got hacked in any fear-mongering or dramatic way once, and even when things go south, I always find ways to clean malware and all its traces manually, and not have to worry about losing my data — no tempting fate intended. Heck, I even had my own Batch script for disabling Windows Updates permanently on Windows 10 when I realized that disabling the relevant services via services.msc wasn't enough; the script also included a temporary files cleaner. There were no LLMs back then, so everything I built was kind of a mess, especially since I was too lazy to set up IDEs, beautifiers, etc. In other words, I just needed something that worked reliably, and surprisingly, I even managed to get 1 sale on eBay from this script!

The script above is not that relevant anymore per se (but the concept still is, based on the recent shenanigans from Microslop), meaning that even the dumbest LLM can build something like it these days. All in all, there's no need to reinvent the wheel, especially with all the free open-source software out there that makes proprietary slop usable.

Anyway, it's really depressing that a trillion-dollar company is too much of a fucking cheapskate to send a tiny 6-digit verification code to a non-U.S. number even though it's done it a few times before over the course of 2 decades. It just goes to show how little Microslop cares about its users. When I was a kid, my dream was to work at a company like Google or Microsoft, but now? I swear to Lucifer that even if you pay me a million dollars a day to do nothing but wear a badge with their logo, I'd still tell them to fuck off. Seriously, there's nothing more sinister than working for these godforsaken morally-bankrupt corporations.

Over and out.
