Every Paid Online Service is Artificially Limited. Fuck!

 |  ESTIMATED READING TIME:  1 MINUTE

Every fucking commercial LLM or cyberlocker or streaming service or pretty much any paid online service these days has these fucking artificial limitations that basically tell the customer, “Hey, you're gonna pay us, but we're still gonna fuck you!” That's why you see blatant evil shit like ads being served on streaming platforms even when you're a paid subscriber.

This bullshit never seems to end. For instance, I wanted to download some large files, and every single cyberlocker out there (RapidGator, DDownload, etc.) either charges a fucking limb for too little bandwidth especially in the era of data hoarding, so I find myself thinking, “Wait, I've already paid 30 Euros for this debrid service, and now it's saying I've exceeded the daily limit, which didn't exist before I reached it. That's it, I'm gonna go back to the days where a “Buy Now” button was for like garlic for a vampire, and never pay for shit online ever again!”

Once my All-Debrid subscription expires, I'm back to torrenting, and finding free links that have no timers or limited paid options or any weird shady shit like that. The whole point of paying was to show support, but most importantly, FUCKING CONVENIENCE!

Being a netizen for over 20 years, I am now certain that nothing is worth paying for online anymore. Everyone cares more about making money than offering actual value, and as a guy who barely makes ends meet, I don't see the point if spending a dime on any online service under any fucking circumstances whatsoever. My Internet bill is expensive enough despite the mediocre speeds.

On the bright side, it's impossible to feel sorry for these businesses when they get hacked or go out of business, so there's that. Cue Where's My Mind? by Pixies
