Swiss Journalist Calls Louis Rossmann “Technically Ignorant” Over a Harmless Joke Video; Clearly, He Has Chosen Death

 |  ESTIMATED READING TIME:  2 MINUTES

You can watch Louis' reply to Daniel Schurter's article through here.

Quoting Daniel (translation from German to English):

Rossmann has exaggerated in the matter.

In fact, the video's hanger is technical ignorance, paired with a clickbait title.

Because Louis has already obliterated the guy, I'm just going to tell you a story that happened to me back when I was still studying English at the Abdelmalik Essaadi University, so here it goes:
A classmate I was unfamiliar with messaged me via Facebook Messenger; I don't remember exactly what it was about, but his message was funny, so I was like, “Haha! You're fucking crazy, man! xD” Somehow that triggered the guy, and so he wrote a fairly long paragraph riddled with variations of “fuck”, and ending said paragraph with, “Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to wash my mouth with soap.” Then he blocked me. I was still a bit petty back then, so I logged in to a secondary Facebook account, and sent him a message saying:

Very Canadian of you.
– Your Worst Nightmare

A few months later, a female classmate wanted to ask me about something after we left the university for the day. While we were having a conversation, the guy standing next to her looked all squirmy for whatever reason, looking away and shit. Years later, I realized it was the same guy that blocked me. People like that guy whose name I don't remember, thank fuck, and this Swiss journalist have 1 majorly annoying thing in common: They both assume people like me and Louis are incompetent just because we made a harmless joke or said something in a way that anyone with common sense would simply ignore.

Me personally, I love it when people underestimate me or think they're somehow better than me at something because of something silly I said or did. I find it very cathartic because I know for a fact that I can prove them wrong without breaking a sweat. Heck, because I don't compete with anyone, there's no limit when it comes to self-improvement. It's why I can express myself freely without using ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini or whatever the fuck, and it's also why I don't need to riddle my blog with ads or affiliate links or ask for donations to provide for my family. Ads are a fucking cancer, and I made enough money from them in the past to know they're not worth my soul, so if you're reading this, dear stranger, do whatever you can to block ads on every device you own, starting with switching from Chrome to Firefox on your phone, and installing uBlock origin. For YouTube, you can use Grayjay or NewPipe. For blocking ads on the DNS level, give AdAway a try. I personally use all three, note that even before I used all 3, I always found a way to block ads on every device I own; I'm just THAT allergic to that malware shopping-addiction-inducing scam filth. If you're an advanced user or you aspire to be, you should also consider blocking ads on the router level, and for inspiration, here's a guide for that from Louis himself. My router does support AdGuard Home natively, but I don't find it very reliable, so I might look up something else later; our living room smart TV is already debloated into oblivion, and we use SmartTube, Jellyfin, and Emby, so there are no ads in sight, which is why I'm not in a rush to block ads on the router level.

Anyway, this Daniel fella really picked the wrong person to fuck with. Moral of the story: Never call people incompetent or ignorant when they're clearly making a joke about something; it only says more about you than it does them.
