I delete all my emails after I'm done reading them. It's cathartic as hell, so it's no wonder I never noticed this bug before even though half of my monitor is dedicated to my Gmail inbox 24/7. That said, great find, Joe! Fixing old bugs that plagued some people for years is super cathartic, too.
