Please don’t kill me, Jay, but I even use DefenderControl to disable Windows Defender. Don’t like having any kind of software scanning in the background and hoarding resources. Been doing this for the last 17 years. I use an interactive firewall (NetLimiter) and common sense (Windows Sandbox and VMs help, too.) Don’t mean to tempt fate, but so far so good.
